Physical activity in relation to surgical operations - Prospective studies (PHYSSURG)

In four different prospective studies patients were included after informed consent before elective operation to treat and from LAPPRO trial collected data was used.

- Gallstone disease

- Colorectal cancer

- Breast cancer

- Obesity

- Prostate cancer (LAPPRO trial)

Before operation they answered a questionnaire including questions on physical activity, smoking and alcohol intake among other things. After operation patients answered questionnaire/s including questions on sick leave, self-assessed return of physical and mental well-being among other things.

Inclusion

The inclusion was stopped 2013- 2015.
